Website make-over

Spring cleaning came REAL early this year.  If you’re here, then there’s a good chance you’ve already seen the change to my site and, I hope, it’s a little more streamline and cohesive.  It’ll take a few more days to clean “deep into the corners” of this site but when it’s done I’m sure I won’t revisit it for many, many months to come.  Enjoy and let me know if something isn’t working quite right.

Broom

Finally

At long last it finally arrived.  “It”, of which I speak, is my union card.  Somehow it’s a little more official now that the card has arrived.  I even got a shirt with it.  The funny thing is that I woke up to find this package at my doorstep.  I open it and find a t-stirt.  As I’m thinking about throwing away the pouch the shirt was sent in, it dawns on me to take a look inside for any more goodies.  When I see this envelope, I thinking, “I hope this isn’t a bill!”  Instead, it was my card.

So what have we learned?  Don’t throw envelopes away until you look thoroughly through it’s contents.  Aesop should write a fable about this one.

Getting hitched – please call again…

Well, it’s finally going to happen – I’m getting married this weekend.  Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you.  My fiancé and I are finally getting married in Santa Monica on Saturday evening.  For those of you have a odd curiosity, you can read all about it at:  www.tacokisses.info

For those of you waiting for more info and pictures from the last shoot, I’ll try to finish that entry next week… after a really, really, really, long night sleep.  Sleep sounds so good right now, I’m already snoring in my head!

Here’s the first of many pictures from last week’s shoot.  I’ll post more this week as time permits, including some clips from the miniature set.

Miniature theatre.  The round light on the bottom left is one of our searchlights in mid ballyhoo.  We used Dedo lights form the sign and a Leko with an iris shut all the way down and on a dimmer.

Marvin (1st AC) – What can I say to explain this?  Perhaps we should just consider this our moment of Zen?
